WESTFALIA, PIONEER IN THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE MARKET

Created in 1844 in Germany, WESTFALIA is the inventor of the kombi van, symbolising freedom and independence. Entire generations have explored Europe and even the world in one of these models.  Created in 1844 in Germany, WESTFALIA is the inventor of the kombi van, symbolising freedom and independence. For over 60 years, the WESTFALIA philosophy has been summed up in two words: innovation and skill.

And today, the traditional Westphalian company still stands for unique fitted vans famous for their uncompromising quality, durability, compatibility with everyday living and of course, the safety of each model. A claim that is also reflected in the premium brand’s motto: mobile passion.

The quality of WESTFALIA vans is partly due to the long-standing relationship with companies like Daimler and Ford. WESTFALIA makes products for its partners, including the Mercedes Marco Polo and the Ford Nugget.

In 2016, under the impetus of the Rapido group, WESTFALIA continued its development by setting up a new production unit in France, within the Fleurette Constructeur factory based in the South Vendée region. The Jules Verne, Kepler and Kelsey models are the result of this partnership. The "hand-made” principle still reigns supreme in these factories, where the spotlight is on French know-how.
